Scope: The overall scope of the Searches Standard is to address all the data exchanges required to order and fulfil all searches involved in residential property transactions.
This page contains documents relating to the OSCRE Searches Standard Version 2.0. The participant organisations that developed the Standard can be found in the Searches Workgroup Page.


For general guidance on understanding the Standard and finding out organisations that have implemented the Standard, please read the Standard Release Document.

Important Notice: If you downloaded the Searches OSCRE Standard V2.0 documents prior to December 3rd 2007, you will have to do this again due to an error in the generation of the schema documentation, which resulted in some of the code lists not appearing. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
