OSCRE announces New Board of Directors

Catherine Williams to continue as Chief Executive

December 17th, 2009 – Following the recent merger between PISCES and OSCRE Americas, OSCRE (the Open Standards Consortium for Real Estate), today announced its new Board of Directors which has been created to fully represent the geographic diversity and industry sectors covered by the new global organisation.
In addition OSCRE also announces that Catherine Williams will continue as Chief Executive.

The Board now includes: Catherine Williams, Chief Executive of OSCRE; Andrew Lloyd, Managing Director, MDA SearchFlow Ltd.; Bruce Kellogg, Senior Vice President Industry Relations, ARGUS Software Inc.; Ted Stratis, Director Information Management Office, ING Real Estate; Craig Cuyer, Global Chief Information Officer, Cushman & Wakefield, Inc.; Paul Albone, Head of IT, TM Property Service Ltd.; Ed Lubinecki, Managing Director, RealFoundations; Ian Cullen, Co-founding Director, Investment Property Database (IPD); Robert Toothaker, IREM International President 2007, Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and Mick Flynn, Managing Director, Trace Solutions Ltd.

Each of the new board members has demonstrated a commitment to improving the operation and transparency of the real estate industry, both personally and as representatives of visionary organisations. Craig Cuyer, new Board member and Global CIO, Cushman & Wakefield Inc., comments: “As one of the world’s largest commercial real estate services firms with operations in 58 countries, our service lines and global clients benefit from the data standards being driven by OSCRE. Cushman & Wakefield continues to support OSCRE through membership and our seat on the board.”

Paul Albone, Head of IT, TM Property Service Ltd., said: “TM has spent many years developing robust and reliable systems that will handle large volumes of property related searches every day. TM has been a firm adopter of the OSCRE Search Standard, helping to specify it and assisting many organisations in its use. With a TM sourced search in over 40% of Home Information Packs, most of these are either ordered or delivered using an OSCRE based format.”

Catherine Williams has been with the organisation since 2002 and became Chief Executive in 2008. Catherine comments: “Now that we have successfully merged into one global standards organisation we can now focus on delivering a truly international standard and the benefits that brings to the real property sector. In our new Board we have a team whose skills and experience would be the envy of any organisation. I am both committed and very enthusiastic about the challenges and opportunities for OSCRE and look forward to making our vision a reality.”
